Marine 31 Finish Cut Metal Restoring Polish On Pontoon's (http://www.marine31online.com/forum/editpost.php?do=updatepost&postid=457)

Here is a pontoon boat I did not to long ago. First I started by acid washing. Next I dried and started polishing. I started with a Tripoli rouge to cut through the tuff stuff and finished with the Marine 31 Finish Cut Metal Restoring Polish. All I can say is wow!

Here's your pictures inserted by using the free gallery you get with your account. All I did was upload them and then they can be "inserted" instead of "attached".

Wow this is a great transformation. A quick few questions:

1) what type of acid wash did you use

2) where did you get the tripoli rouge and how did you apply it?

3) what set up did you use to apply the polish? Was it by hand. I see pictures of you using a machine to polish. Was that for the rouge or the polish you were using a pad to apply.

Thanks is advance, and keep up the great work!

I bought the rouge from menzerna and applied it with an airway medium cut pad. followed up by marine 31 metal polish applied with flex 3401 and foam polishing pad

and the acid was just a diluted chrome and wire wheel cleaner from my local distributer 50/50
