I have a white gelcoat Sea Ray Sundancer I have restored. I am using Marine 31 Final Step Polish and a GG 6" & 3" with Buff N Shine Flat Pads.

I'd try a polishing pad. A finishing pad will probably be too soft.

Thanks once again Mike. I would really be up a rather foul smelling river without all the help you guys have given me!

After finally getting her off the skids after the mechanical work being done from last summer I had her looking better than brand new with all of the Marine 31 products I exclusively used on her. I was rather proud to have her at home sitting on the lift for everyone to see. Then the Red Tide came....
The birds decended like locusts and when I left for work up North for a few weeks, when I came home I saw that every square inch of her was covered in dried up crusty poo from anything in the animal kingdom that had wings. They shredded my canvas cover and promplty pecked a hole in my passenger lounge seat under it trying to build a nest inside. So....I am back to square one again with regards to the topside however because of the work I put into it, the Marine 31 polishes and wax have made getting her back in shape was almost unreal. I promise that I will upload the photos as well as my reviews from every product I used from Marine 31. Now I am really wishing I had gotten that Flex unit, that's for sure.
