Is the boat in or out of the water?

Re: Barnacle Removal

Yes, helped a buddy of mine trail the boat back home to his property. Where I then started the removal with a brush and got most of the job done, except heavily saturated areas. I used a pressure washer from time to time in the heavy spots which did justice. I MADE SURE NOT to use the pressure washer in light barnacle clustered areas so I was able to NOT HARM the paint one bit. For the future....

What kind of products are made as a loosing or breaking up agent to help soak heavy areas??

I did some searching with Google and found some options that seem to work for other guys here.

Barnacle's - How to remove?

Looks like the best advice besides the various gel removers and rigid scrapers is to get right on this after you pull the boat out of the water before the barnacles dry and then solidify their contact to your hull.

I agree, Its a process once they harden up so getting to it when the boat is removed from the water sounds best. Appreciate your time guys. :thank-you:
