Which setting should be used when using the marine 31 wash and wax soap in this gun,

You want to use the largest size hole in the adjustment rod.

If you spin the rod upside down you'll see a series of holes that are opposite the indents for the check ball that holds each adjustment in place.

I always use the largest opening for max foam.
